HIGH RESOLTION ANORECTAL MANOMETRY

HIGH RESOLTION OESOPHAGEAL MANOMETRY Anorectal Manometry is a test that measures how well the rectum and anal sphincter are working. The anal sphincter is the ring of muscles that control the opening and closing of the anus. It is performed to check how sensitive the rectum is and how well it is working. The test also checks the strength of the muscles of the anus. These muscles control the opening and closing of the anus. WHEN WOULD ANORECTAL MANOMETRY BE NEEDED The Anorectal Manometry test is commonly given to people who have:
1 Fecal incontinence (can’t control bowels, results in leakage of feces)
2 Constipation (less than three bowel movements a week)
3 Hirschsprung’s disease in children (a disease that can cause a blockage in the large intestine)

TO PERFORM THIS STUDY WE REQUIRED MANOMETRY SYSTEM WHICH INCLUDES
1 16 CHANNEL WATER PERFUSION SYSTEMS
2 ANORECTAL REUSABLE CATHETERS
3 CAPILLARY & TRANSDUCER
4 DATA AQUISITION CARD
5 PATIENT INTERFACE PROCESSOR
5 COMPUTER SYSTEM
7 SOFTWARE FOR ANALYSIS
We use Only Catheter & Software is different for Anorectal Manometry Procedure, rest of hardware part is same and performs on same system
